DaySpring Daily Word of Inspiration: Psalms 63:3-4 – Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.

Praise be to God! I will continue to have his name on my lips and raise my hands to the one true God. He is merciful, loving and His will is good for my life.

Today we simply want everyone to stop, think on the goodness God has lavished on your life and give him thanks! What can you truly think of that is better than the love of Christ? His love is the one and only thing in this life that can save you from yourself and save your soul!

I remember as a child, I’d see my grandparents raising their hands up in the sky and I’d wonder what they doing? I’d think “I could never do that” or “That looks weird and everyone will look at me funny if I did it”. Well needless to say, as I matured and grew up in the Lord, I started to understand why they had their hands up. I understood a bit better how their concern wasn’t looking cool for their friends but to let God know their attitude of gratitude for Jesus and His sacrifice.

How grateful are you today? Whenever we think about what God has done; I mean really think on what he has done for us every day, could we stop and give praise from our lips? Could we throw up our hands in further surrender to God knowing that he has all power to raise us up again?

If you can find time in your day to make a joyful noise to the Lord, I would challenge you to do so. Who cares whose looking? Let’s allow our voices of praise and gratitude be heard, seen, and reflective of the LOVE we have for God for that which we know he has for us! If you’re with me, let me hear you exclaim…AMEN!!
