DaySpring Daily Word of Inspiration: Matthew 5:6 – Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Today our message may be short but it is right on time. My God’s word go forward with power.

We all struggle in this life to fill ourselves with happiness through friends, our jobs, our possessions and many other things. Often times we still fill empty in the end because these items have no substance that lasts. Our question today is what do you want to fill your life with?

God word assures us that we shall be filled if we hunger and thirst for righteousness. As a Christian, we say that we believe in the absolute word of God. That means we believe every word of the bible is true. If we don’t believe it is the words of Jesus, what is the basis of our faith and are we really proclaiming God in vain. So why is it hard for us to accept this filling from God as enough? We have to start at the base. We need to first believe that God’s word is true. Second we need to trust that his word will be fulfilled in our lives IF we do as he commands and hold to his teachings.

You want to be full and feel refreshed every day? I challenge you today, while it is still considered today, to thirst, to hunger, to seek and to abide by God’s laws and see if he doesn’t keep his word. Remember, it’s not hard for God to keep his promises to us AFTER we have done what he asks. He is faithful and continues to be so. It is us who have a problem truly chasing after God; being faithful to His things and continuing to seek after His righteousness.

Chase God and continue to want and desire his presence in your life. Be patience. He will show up because God CAN’T LIE.
We pray this word moves you closer into a deep relationship with God and helps your thirst be quenched by only his power. Have a blessed day and run after God! In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
