DAYSPRING’S MONTHLY NEWSLETTER

December 2014 “Christmas, A Savior is Born”
We do not thank God enough. Our thanks to God should be continual and heartfelt, and although we can use the holidays to remind us to step up our thanks to God, we should always be thankful to God each and every day. Let’s rejuvenate our spirit of thanksgiving and be reminded to have gratitude and contentment no matter the circumstances.
October 2014 “Accountability”
We generally do not like the word accountability. It seems to imply that we must answer to someone else, which strips us of our independence. But, accountability is a blessing, not a burden. Read this month’s newsletter to discover some benefits of being accountable to others.
Many of us are suffering from spiritual malnutrition because we aren’t feeding our spirit what it needs and longs for…the intimacy with God and His Word. Let’s learn how to satisfy our hunger and spiritual thirst.

We are fortunate to have such a dynamic Pastor. As a good shepherd, he leads, protects, and feeds us. In celebration of our Pastor’s 3-years in ministry, we’ve dedicated this month’s newsletter to explaining the role of a great Pastor. Hope you enjoy the featured article titled, the “Portrait of a Pastor”.
May 2014 “Month for the Mother”
This month we take a moment to recognize, honor, and give thanks to women who have a heart of gold and desire to make God the author and perfecter of all they do. A mother’s job is never done, however when coupled with godly actions, direction, and adoration, they help to produce a life long generation of Christ lovers and followers. Be encouraged to have a mother in your life and let them all be blessed as they are directed by God for the strengthening of a godly people.
March 2014 “Serving”
If you’re not doing it, someone is doing it for you. Serving is seen as a act of weakness and can be frowned upon. However, when we have a spiritual prospective of its importance, we see how Christ served us in perfection. This humbling truth inspires us to be better servants based on such a perfect example. This month’s newletter will prayerfully put serving in a whole new light and have you eager to do it more often.

November 2013 “AM I A CHURCH MEMBER?”
A church member is not simply a person who attends church. Rather being a member of a church, means that you are an active, working member of the Body of Christ. That is, each member has his/her part to do, in order that the whole Body (church) functions properly. Are you a Biblical church member?

In spite of what we are going through and what obstacles come our way, we are to always give thanks. Let’s focus on what God HAS done for us, not our lack or what we need.
September 2013 “Power of Prayer & Fellowship”
We are not meant to live this Christian life alone. We need each other’s prayers, physical touch, encouragement, and even accountability.
August 2013 “Healthy Living, Church & YOU”
Healthiness is not limited to physical health; rather it encompasses mental and spiritual health as well. The goal is to become healthier Christians in all areas of our lives.
July 2013 “Stewardship”
God owns everything we have. We are simply a steward (manager) of what God has entrusted to us. How well are we managing God’s time, money, and temple (our physical body)?
